It is important that you AGREE and that you are aware of our booking policy BEFORE you make your booking. We will keep our word on your behalf and we expect you to do likewise. We accept no bookings whatsoever without a credit card number or a deposit received… as policy. Credit card companies will honour your booking once you have agreed to and are aware of a cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

The Foxford Lodge cancellation policy is as follows, All persons booking accommodation must pay a 50 euro non-refundable deposit per person. Balance payable 1 week prior to arrival. Notice…14 to 7 days, lose 25% of booking. From 6 days to 1 day, lose 50% of the booking. No notice at all and a full price will be charged to the person whom confirmed the booking. Any subsequent nights that have been booked on your behalf and we turned others away will also be charged to your account. (this will only be done if we did actually turn others away.)

Group Bookings

All confirmed group bookings now carry a 50 euro non-refundable deposit per person, with an invoiced balance less deposit payable one week prior to arrival. If any person cancels their fee stands. Once we block book for you, this block booking is no longer available for anyone else, it also includes administration costs which would have been in progress while organising your weekend or break. Our classification of a group is 6 people or more.

Self-catering Houses

We will take the booking price for our self-catering accommodation….As these houses are much sought after, any cancellation will forfeit deposits. To book the houses a deposit of 100 euro is required and non-refundable.

Special Interest Breaks

If a break is booked for Painting, Fishing or Murder Mystery ,all fees outside of our control will also be charged. For example Hotels where Dinner or accommodation has been booked on your behalf. Mini-buses or guides & boatmen or equipment all have to be paid for. We are reasonable people and we understand that some circumstances may warrant cancellation and are unavoidable but please be aware that third parties have costs to us too!

Do it like this and you will have no problem and neither will we… If you are coming to us regardless then by all means book as you more than likely will arrive. If for some reason you have a doubt, then do not book. We have no problem with a provisional booking (held for one week) but remember it doesn't guarantee a booking and any subsequent bookings who confirm will move above your booking. We believe that this is just and fair. When you can confirm please do.
